We all know just how important sleep is for our overall well-being, but unfortunately many people experience sleep issues. Some people struggle to fall asleep, others cannot stay asleep, and some never wake up feeling refreshed.

  • Maintaining a healthy weight: Excess weight can contribute to sleep apnea, so maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise can help.
  • Avoiding alcohol and sedatives: These substances can relax the muscles in your throat and contribute to sleep apnea.
  • Using a CPAP machine: A Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine can help keep your airway open during sleep.

3. Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

RLS is a sleep disorder where people experience an irresistible urge to move the legs. To help alleviate symptoms of RLS, try:
